ATELIER NOR
Let the material speak.

Let the material speak.
A material-led identity for a linen and lifestyle concept. The design makes space for fiber, paper and fabric rather than treating the logo as the whole brand.
What did this brand need?
Build a calm system that connects fashion and home products, with a natural vocabulary that still feels deliberate and contemporary.
Why these colors and type?
Charcoal gives the neutral materials a consistent anchor. A small sage accent, generous margins and understated labeling leave the product texture in focus.
Where does the identity work?
Textile labels, a canvas tote, a rigid box and a printed handbook show how a restrained identity can remain coherent across very different materials.

The smallest detail carries the identity.
The identity moves between woven fabric, textured paper and the printed handbook. The quiet wordmark and a charcoal-and-chalk palette allow the material to remain the focus.
What to take from the study
For a material-led brand, review the smallest label as carefully as the hero image. Thin lettering, weave texture and printing finish can change legibility. Always test final artwork with the intended supplier before production.
