From a page to a brief

  1. Open a product or brand page and click Capture this page in the extension. Where available, it reads product metadata, page title and description, selected non-form text, page colors, font families and an image reference URL.
  2. Edit the brand name, product notes, audience and visual direction. Remove any reference colors or fonts you do not want. Page styling is inspiration; it is not an analysis of the product photo.
  3. Save up to 20 briefs locally, copy the text, or export Markdown and JSON. You can also start a blank brief. A new capture does not save automatically; use Save on this device before closing the popup.
  4. Choose Review in Brandfolia to open the studio. Review and apply the text there, then optionally upload a product image you have permission to use.

Useful on its own

Capture, local storage, editing and export are free and do not require a Brandfolia account. No subscription or AI service is needed for those functions. The separate identity studio requires an account and paid credits for new AI generation. Public checkout is not open yet. You can edit the studio samples without an account. What it reads

The extension uses temporary access to the active tab only after you invoke it and click capture. It does not monitor other tabs, run a background crawler, read cookies or passwords, or fetch whole product catalogs. Image references are links, not downloaded image files. Clicking an image reference opens the original image host.

Limitations

Chrome settings, Web Store pages and browser PDF viewers cannot be captured. Some sites provide incomplete or inaccurate metadata. Review the captured facts. The extension does not verify ownership, analyze product-photo colors, download remote images, clone a brand identity or create AI images inside the popup. Use your own materials and treat other brands as references.

Help

If capture is unavailable, open a regular HTTP or HTTPS page or choose Start a blank brief. Export saved work before removing it or uninstalling the extension. The library is local to this browser profile and does not sync between devices.
